HARMONY HILL MOTTO

Who e’re thou art that entereth here

Forget the struggling world

And every trembling fear.

Take from thy heart each evil thought

And all that selfishness

Within thy life has wrought.

For once inside this place thou’lt find

No barter, servant’s fear

Nor master’s voice unkind.

Here all are kin of God above-

Thou, too dear heart, and here

The rule of life is love.

-Leaves of Gold-

Notice the divine sequence of 1 Corinthians 3.22,23 “.. all things

are yours, and ye are Christ’s and Christ is God’s.”

Harmony Hill belongs to God.  We, (You and I) have been given

the keeping of it.  This motto is more than a challenge. It is a commit-

ment! It is the responsibility of each person within it’s gates to assure

that there is “no barter, servant's fear, nor master’s voice unkind.”

Here, (on Harmony Hill) the rule of life, (Gods commandment),

is LOVE.”

The above Motto was selected for Harmony Hill By

Sister Gladys Dalton

whom we remember as being a living example of

the principles cited in this poem.
